I just love this restaurant. The food is out of this world and the staff are fantastic. I shall keep on going back and back and back for special occasions as it is worth every penny.

Essenza does great, great food. Essenza is slightly expensive compared with it's peers on the same road. And why the plastic coated menus!? Did I mention the great food?

Essenza is a friendly, easy going, intimate restaurant located on Kensington Park Road in Notting Hill Gate and servers good quality Italian cusine. It has a stylish and contemporary interior without being pretentious. They do a great T-bone steak which has been matured for 21 days and is one of the best I have ever had in London. Highly recommended.

I have been to this restaurant twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner and have been very impressed both times. The food has been fantastic and the service excellent.



At lunch time a friend and I had the Saturday lunch special which was superb value. I had the seafood linguine for my first course and cod with Mediterranean grilled vegetables after. Despite being busy the waiters did not rush us into the next course they allowed us a good rest in between.



For dinner I had the most divine pork I have ever tasted at a restaurant in this country; oven roasted, boned, rolled baby pig. It just melted in the mouth; my mouth is watering now, just thinking about it.



There isn't a bad word I can say about this restaurant. The food is wonderful even the bread and the oil and vinegar they give you when you arrive is great. The service is attentive without being intrusive. In the summer you can sit outside and watch the world go by. I shall definitely be returning.
