I went to see a dj el nino and was told he no longer works there anymore, so the information on here is wrong. The dj that they have now doesnt mix everything and music is a bit too cheesy for what it was before. The venue seems to be getting emptier everytime i go, door staff were nice but bar men are a bit rude and the venue needs to be refurbished as the walls are falling apart.

The actual class start much later than indicated in the internet. Furthermore, it was not a Salsa Class, but a Zumba Class where trainers would have been more appropriate. Overall, the place was quite empty. That's why we left shortly after our Zumba workout.
I disagree with James, i dont know what night you went to but i went on a Saturday and the music was brilliant the DJ kept the atmosphere on the dance floor. I have been to this club on and off and now that they have this DJ on board the nights get better and better i think its DJ nino if im correct. Plus he was mixing live, so we didnt have to listen to 5 minutes of a track!
I have become a regular and agree the club it self needs a revamp, very run down but still a good party to go to on a saturday.
Havana have cracked it! It's a perfect place to be entertained , learn to dance salsa and bachata and make new friends. It's how an authentic latin venue should feel >>>>>>>>alive! They now have Bachata and salsa classes 7.30 and 8.30 every Friday. The class is a great way to make friends , especially if you arrive alone. I go every week and always dance the night away! A group of us eat first , learn salsa then dance. Very happy!
i went there with a few friends last week, and we were very dissopointed!
the dj were rubish who didnt know how to mix ,my laptop does a better job than that. i asked for a mojhita. it was made by a drink machine and tasted horrible.
this was the second time i had been there, last time about 3 months a go , and than the dj was better and no mojhita
machine either. anyway i wouldnt recommend anyone to go there as it is there now unless you are desparte to find a another desparte who might be your dance partner.
verdict : cheap looking cheap entretaiment cheap tasting drinks
This club is awesome, the best night out in ages. Great dance classes on a saturday, they have a new teaching team and DJ, that are so much fun and I actually learnt to dance in 1 hour.
Highly recommend to anyone....... must spot for great dancing, food and a cheeky drink XXX luv it Sonya
My friend and me really enjoy salsa classes with J. Carlos and dancing salsa in Havana on Mondays and Thursdays.
I could see that in Havana, so far, there is a good, happy and a healthy atmosfere. I will defenetly bring more friends to the club. Thankyou for that. Hope it will carry on this way.
Regards, Laura
beautifully done out, lovely natural woodwork. The salsa class is amazing and very , very energetic. A very friendly vibe, it was all about the dancing when I went, didnt stay for the evening so cant comment on teh club aspect. Mixed age range for the classes so I didnt feel like an old fogey even though I went onmy own, and the young people there very welcoming. Going again with a friend tonight so will update you as we may try the mojito's
this place has come on leaps and bounds, i stopped comming here a couple of years ago for a number of reasons. i have started comming back in here in the last 6 months as my friends told me the new management have cleaned the place up and boy have they!! i havent seen a fight in here since i came back and the atmosphere is all about having fun and dancing, only problem is that it gets sooo hott in here i think you need to get some new aircon. i now love this place and go there most nights for the salsa lessons, i was quite impressed to see on of the managers joining in and having a laugh with the customers aswell. thumbs up from me!!!
I didn't even make it inside Fiesta Havana. While waiting in the queue outside with my friends we saw a guy being turned away by the two bouncers for no apparent reason. This took away any desire to go inside Fiesta Havana and have a dance and a good time. I certainly won't go to this place now.
The food at Fiesta Havana is really good. I love the spicey Mexican stuff - and the rums are really great too. All in all you can have a fab night here with food, booze and dancing. Fiesta Havana truly does it for me.
The dancing lessons in Fiesta Havana are fabulous! My friends and I had a great time and got very sore feet from all the salsa. I would highly recommend Fiesta Havana for a good old girly night out.
Havana have nice food, great staff and brilliant drinks. However be careful of the men in Havana!
To me, the word ‘Havana’ conjures up visions of Brazilian goddesses strutting around in thong bikinis, smoking on Cuban cigars and sipping on mojitos. Havana does not suggest seedy theme restaurants with luke-warm tapas and paint stripper-esque tequila.
But that’s what you get!
