Primo!! Not only is this an atmospheric & buzzed, welcoming environment with Italian-meets-urban-funky decor, but the FOOD is well worth the visit. Fantastic! Heavenly retro-style cream soda alone is worth re-visits! Filled pasta of the day: superb. AMAZING fresh focaccia, all made there daily. Add the'Full Monty' breakfast to your MUST-do list NOW! You won't need lunch that day! Just ENJOY! Yumm!Having read some other reviews: If you see something you don't like, or if you'd like your coat hung up, ask! The menu tells you what you need to know, BUT yes, the staff should be happy to greet guests, & be proud to know all about the food, where it's from - or find out - and important such things. Quality, tasty, well-prepared food isn't about having a piled-high plate. Relax & Enjoy.
I've just returned from this restaurant -my husband took me for my birthday on a Friday lunchtime. The food was good and the restaurant well laid out well but some of the waiting staff should spend more time earning the 12.5% service charge that automatically gets added to the bill than mucking about and bitching about the customers in full view of them. I spent years waitressing myself and know at times it can trying, but it wasn't busy at the time and there is a place for that kind of behaviour and it is not in front of paying customers. Made me feel very uncomfortable and would definitely make me think twice about returning. Hardly the 'inclusive' ethos that Fifteen is meant to stand for.
A big disapointment. I am a great fan of Jamie Oliver, and I support very much his ideas also about this restaurant. What I found very difficult after the dinner is, why I have to pay more than normal for a dinner about average and a wine service much much below. We started with a glass of sparkling wine, ok but nothing special. Then a glas of Etna DOC Rosso from Cottanara, absolutely the basic of their wines. The wine was tired, and too hot. Then a bottle of Bourgogne Raquilet, absolut a wine that I believe cost Jamie max 8 EURO to the restaurant. Here the price were 43,50 £. Completely crazy. I thought the restaurants i Denmark were expensive with the wines. The Sommelier (yes the called it that) knew nothing about wine, did not check the wine, and the wine cellar was open all night. There for the wines were kept at a temp 18-20 degr. I saw Soldera Brunello 1990 Riserva (perhaps the Brunello of all time) and I cried about that handling of such a wine. The food: 1 Ravioli (yes it was one), one Risotto, one lamb and one Chicken, two espresso and a bottle of water. 179,14 £.
I like to know, why you have to pay more for less. Will I come again? For sure NO
Hi,
I just had lunch here with a good friend and the afternoon couldn't have been any better. The food and atmosphere were amazing but most of all our two waitresses were fantastic. They were called Kehinde & Kara! Both amazing! Thank you :)

I never write reviews but I thought I should for Fifteen as it was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. True it is not cheap but at least the profits are not going to buy sports cars for middle aged male chefs like some other venues. I had mackerel with pickled veg that was perfect followed by pappardelle with a pork ragu that was deep and complex. The pasta might be a little underdone for english taste but perfectly al dente in my view. My wife had the ravioli with sage butter which I can honestly say was sublime. The mains were superb with fresh seasonal veg with the lamb and sea trout and they even "ruined" my wife's lamb by doing it well done without a qualm (she knows no better what can I say).
Finally not only was my cheesboard excellently sourced and delicious but when I asked about one cheese I was not sure about the Maitre d brought me a folder with pictures of the cheese along with details of the supplier so I could have a look.#
Service could not have been better with a particularly attentive sommelier who thought that my wife didn't like her cocktail so was on hand to change it without quibbling.
The only fault was some ice crystals in the white chocolate ice cream but we had the chef dragged out and publicly shamed for this egregious error and somehow managed to get on with our lives.
Cheers for a great day out.
First impressions were the most dissapointing I have had in a restaurant like this in a long, long time. My self and some friends walk in, to find a red haired girl, literally sprawled over the front desk (from the customer side) who looked at us like she wondered what the cat dragged in (seriously if your going to judge, fine, but tuck your shirt in, and tie your hair up properly first, your not at school now). No hint of a smile "your tables ready already" (we were 15 mins early). Accusing, miserable messy girl. Who on earth employed her? I work in the industry and I know that makes me extra sensitive to these things, but I also know that customer service is key. Wonderfull food, appalling staff. Topped of by our waiter describing our pasta with some inane hand movement, saying "pasta shapes, pasta shapes" enlightening....
We arrived early, excited to have a cocktail before dinner. We were directed to some seats, we had to slump our winter coats onto the table, as we were told by the maitre d' that as we were dinning downstairs he couldn't take our coats! 20mins passed & no one had come to take an order for drinks, I had to go & ask someone to come over. We were then seated at our table & the waitress came over & asked if we were "ready to order our meals?" We hadn't even ordered wine yet! The waitress took only 2 drink orders from a table of 6 & then began walking off. A member of our party asked the waitress "where the scallops were from?" To which she replied "Scotland..I think.? I don't really know". She didn't even offer to go and find out, the service was absolutly appalling! The entree's were ok, the mains awful! The artichoke purée with the scallops was so salty, it completely over powered everything else on the plate! The fish stew was also too salty, advice to the chef's, learn to season food correctly before charging outrageous prices! The Lamb was served with spinach, 4 leaves! It was just a bowl of shredded lamb, hard to stomach even by a carnivore! I though Jamie was always trying to get us to eat healthier but to serve our dishes without vegetables was disgraceful. If Jamie had himself been given the service & food we had he would be embarrassed, and he should be. We expressed our disappointment in the meals to the waiter & were met with a rude response. Regarding the lack of vegetables with our meals the answer we got was "here is the menu, what you see is what you get, there is no secrets" and "upstairs is where they serve side dishes & this should have been explain when we booked" . We were then handed the bill without asking for it, they clearly wanted us to leave. The bill came to over £400! £50 of which was a 'discretionary service charge'. We left feeling incredibly disappointed & with no incentive to EVER return.
great breakfasts, shame they finish at 11am
