Unpretentious perhaps, and certainly reasonable. The restaurant is small and gets busy because it offers excellent value. The food is authentic Taiwanese and tasty. Service is friendly: the owner and the two waitresses always have a smile and listen to the customer. Lovely people, matching the lovely food.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Absolutely gorgeous food at more than reasonable prices. It has become my regular!

Urgh. Not too keen on Formosa. I could cook up something similar to the food here at home, and not have to deal with the Formosa sleazy waiters either.

Formosa may be a little scruffy on the outside but the food and service are fantastic!
