I used to go to this restaurant when it was Zillis and always enjoyed the food and the service and with Gino there you would always get a warm welcome and no matter how long between visits he would always remember your drink. When it changed hands it was OK but since the new onwers brought Gino back it gives it that extra reason to keep going back although not as often as we would like.
I can say I always leave there feeling that as soon as I can I will be back.

A fresh, new addition to the dining options available in Soho. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very attentive. Good and varied menu available for this level of budget. The food was served promptly and was of a high quality. Definitely one to add to my list for future nights out.

I haven't been out in Soho for a while, and only recently discovered the new addition! What a gem. Beautiful decor inside, a warm welcome by the staff and a welcoming atmosphere in this independent restaurant - something the city really needs more of!
I went with a couple of friends and we were served delicious Italian classics. We were following the recommendations of the staff and really were not disappointed in the least. And all that at a reasonable prize. It's been a pleasure all around!
Next time (which there definitely will be), I'll make sure to have more of that Tiramisu, too! A* and thanks to the staff for the lovely night out.

Food was average really nothing special at all! The one girl who was actually serving food was pleasant but otherwise there was an attitude of arrogance from other members of staff. They also attempted to overcharge us on our bill and I would advise people to be wary and review your bill properly before paying. Overall really disappointed with the service and the atmosphere in particular as well as the quite hideous decor. I feel the other reviews are misleading about this restaurant even at best the food could only get 3 stars. You can do much better in Soho.

Forty Dean Street is a real find in Soho. It has a most welcoming atmosphere, fun, great food, pasta a must and the house wine good value. The restaurant is frequented by locals in soho, real characters and a lot of Show Business customers.

I recently dined at 40 Dean Street with three friends. This was my first time at the restaurant so I had no expectations. Inside, the décor is warm and intimate. The staff were welcoming and friendly without being intrusive, and were able offer useful advice on food and wine selection. Service was slick but not rushed and the food was good quality, noticeably higher than most restaurants in this price-range.

This is a hidden gem - great food (my Arrabiata was the best I've had in London) great service and very reasonably priced. Definitely one to go back to!

Ive worked in Soho for years and I must say that 40 Dean Street is by far a 5 star establishment, the service is spot on, the ambience is cool and classy and the food is excellent! The owner Nima takes pride in getting things right and we always love to come to Forty Dean Street to chill and enjoy great Italian food and spot the odd celebrity! If your in Soho get in quick Forty Dean Street gets packed out.
