We were literally thrown out after we had finished our coffees because there were other people waiting for a table!

This never happened to my friend or me before ... very bad service even for a tourist trap.

Plus I had a dirty spoon.

I often go to this deli because the food is excellent, the staff very friendly and the espresso is the best espresso you can get in London.

It is quite surprising to hear that somebody was thrown out from this place.

I took there a few Italian friends yesterday who liked the food very much as well as the fact that we just stayed there without anybody trying to hurry us out...I would really recommend this place!

I have brunch here every weekend. Food is always exceptional (especially the salads & poached eggs) and staff friendly and efficient.

Actually, I think it's verging on bad manners to hang about once you've finished eating/drinking in a place like Franze & Evans. Obviously it's busy and space is at a premium so it's not always going to be the place to pull up a chair and while away an afternoon nursing a single cup of coffee - loads of other places to do that all over shoreditch!
