I work near Covent Garden and the Strand and Garden is one of my favourite places to pick up a sandwich and smoothie. The staff are friendly and the sandwiches large and tasty. It is pretty good value. My favourite is the Adlington roast beef baguette or the chicken escalope and mushroom panini. On a hot day I get a freshly squeezed orange juice or a apple and rasberry smoothie. Most of the food is organic, fair trade or from a local farm so I feel like I am doing my ethical bit.
