I've eaten at Gilmours quite a few times now and the staff have always been incredibly charming. How nice it is to find a restaurant where there are smiling faces AND you can have a drink at the bar before you sit down for your meal.

On my most recent visit I tried some of the dishes off their new tapas menu - loved the squid and the shrimp on toast. It was one of our rare sunny evenings and managed to get a table on the terrace. I can definitely recommend their knickerbocker glory too!

I had a well priced proseco (well a few of them in fact) and some incredibly tasty and good value bar snacks. I was impressed by the pretty girls at the bar as well.

Are you sure it was Gilmour's?

We found the managers there always willing to bend over backwards for us.

The atmosphere is lively and relaxed and the food absolutely delicious!

I'm afraid this is the right place. She sneered her way through our meal and seemed to care very little for her customers.

The serving staff on the other hand were very personable and a joy to speak to.I have to say the food was also a little hit & miss, and the sides were incredibly over priced!

Why is everyone being Anonymous?! I'm a great fan of Gilmours and have eaten there many times.

Everyone has always been very welcoming and hugely helpful and the food has been gorgeous!!

It's the kind of place that is perfect for any occasion - treating your parents, impressing a new date, pampering a client or just pampering yourself, without fuss or formality!

Unless something goes terribly wrong with the technology, I am proud to recommend this restaurant to anyone as Sofie Mason! Sx

Gilmour's is such a gem. It's just around the corner from the Cinema and it is such fantastic value.

I am local and eat there often, I am always made to feel special
and the Chef often comes and has a few words with me.

Gilmour's is where I always choose to go when I am asked as they just serve the best steaks around!

I love the design of this place, nice and chilled out and the food is really really good especially the belly of pork.
