I went to Gilt last week to meet friends. It was a Groove night and it is a guest list night. However, there was a very pleasant lady who I was greeted by who was very polite and welcoming. She allowed me entry for £10 as this was non guest list price which I was hesitant in paying but the lady enticed me into wanting to come in and give it a go. Well, it was not too busy but the atmosphere, music and crowd were brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed my night and if it wasn't for the door lady, who was friendly, warm and actually quite funny, I would probably have walked away once I was told the price! I will definately be going there again.

I came to Gilt a month ago for my work Christmas party and was really impressed with the venue! The staff were very helpful from start to finish with organising the party and on the night to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our pre ordered drinks were ready on arrival and the food tasted great as well as being fantastic value for money! There was also a DJ playing a variety of music to suit us all. I had a brilliant night and would highly recommend Gilt!

Absolutely awful.

The wine was overpriced (which I'm used to) but tasted of vinegar and worst of all the bouncers are violent idiots.

They started getting violent with several of the guests for no apparent reasons. Because it is up 2 flights of stairs, they have the habit of chucking guests down them with no just cause.

I'm never going there again and hope it closes down ASAP.

went on a monday for lunch it was quiet but the atmosphere was very nice.I had a starter which was lamb kebabs they were mouth watering and to follow i had the rib eye it was delicous.would defintly recommand to my friend.

Went for lunch with the girls last week ahead of the launch party and had lots of fun. The staff are so friendly and the food tasted yummy...its a must for the girls and the guys (who seem to admire the girls that work there)

I did not spend that long at the lauch party, as i had other commitments. But the place is really nicely done out and the staff i had spoken too were really nice and helpful and they knew their stuff about the cocktails. Which was great.
I did not sample the food though, but it smelt and looked good.

It is definitely a typical city bar, which isnt a bad thing at all.
But if you are not into sahring the same atmospher with brokers and people alike, then it isnt for you.

They have many varities of rum which start from around £4.00
and glasses of wine from around £5.00, but they are larage glasses i must say.
A good selection of cocktails too. which again are not too expensive.
They do also have beers and other spirits on offer if wine and cocktails are not for you..

I would say difinitely check it out for yourself, as everyone's tastes are different.
It did have a nice atmospher and i think you could have a fun night in there as they have dj's too and a good dance is whats needed after a few drinks..
I think it would be a great place for girls night, or a guys night or even an office get together.. So yes, i would reccommend.
