It was a nice visit. My fiance and I visited there for dinner and the environment were absolutely superb. Just gorgeous! We ordered the set menu and the food was good but not an enough amount for me. The starter soup came with a more than 30cm plate in diameter but the actual soup in the centre of the plate was about 5cm... Maybe this is their way of showing 'posh' or 'show-off' service but I found it a bit funny... The main course was delivered by one waiter but there are other 2 waiters waiting behind him to pour sauce on the dish and to salt/pepper the dish. Although the service is overwhelming, the environment is absolutely brilliant and it is definitely worth visiting to experience their way of serving the customers.

This has to be the best restaurant I have ever been to. The food is simply outstanding. The service is exemplary. It is the perfect place to go if you want to treat yourself. The only negative I can find is the price but like anything in life... you pay for what you get. With that in mind, it’s great value.

The Dorchester Grill Room is proper old skool dining at its best. Canapes, aperitifs and all the requisite knives and forks - bring your best manners. We brought my mum to the Dorchester Grill Room for her 60th birthday and the whole evening was wonderful.
