I practically live on chicken soup from Harry Morgan's - it's the cure-all remedy for everything, from colds to hangovers. It seems even Kate Moss likes it, I once spotted her in there grabbing a take-away - the ultimate celebrity sighting!



Also have a bit of a weakness for the banoffee pie. Being American, I had never heard of this amazing dessert, and now I can't get enough.

I went to Harry Morgans with my cousins who were over from NY last weekend. They had read about it in a guide book and wanted to try it - as it was reviewed as the closest thing to a NY Deli you will find this side of the pond.



I am so pleased they introduced me to a restaurant on my doorstep that I had never thought to try before. The food was really good. Delicious in fact. I will definitely be going back. I particularly loved all the salad choices, salt beef and the piece de resistance was the Banoffee Pie. D-double-licious!

I had no idea what kind of resturant Harry Morgan's was until I came here with a friend recently. Apparently, Harry Morgan's is Jewish, but I didn't think that meant a menu of tongue and salt beef.
Really not what I'd expected, not for me I'm afraid.
