Easily the Best Turkish in Dalston, Tried all the rest and nothing ever compares. Amazing service, great value for money, you feel guilty when you walk past, and always end up popping in for a takeaway box which includes fresh salad, Meaty Bread, Couscous, grilled tomato, rice, chilli and my favorite Chicken and Lamb mixed with garlic and chilli sauce for an unbelievable £5.50. Prepare for a lie down after you will feel stuffed......
I went with hubby to Hasan last Thursday, enjoyed the food so much, we went back on Friday.
We loved the grilled onions in pomegranate juice which were on the house, and lamb kebabs were to die for.
Food absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend it!
Eaten at hasan,s a few times what a little gem on our first visit we was blown away by the food which was to die for, the food is great value for money and good quality the staff are friendly and very attentive the owner himself mr hasan is a very nice man well worth a visit if in the area.
forgot to mention you must try the baked onions in pomergrammete juice as a starter.....
A group of us visited Hasan for the first time this week after being regulars at other Turkish restaurants in this area for years. This will definitely be top of our list for future visits - the staff were welcoming and efficient without being obtrusive and the food was excellent.
Whilst we paid for some starters other restaurants offer as 'freebies', the prices of main courses were more reasonable so it evened itself out. Having said that, they offered our group complimentary teas after the meal along with a taster pudding so all in all excellent value.
Delicious! Stokey's food options are getting better and better and I've now just discovered Hasan Meze and Mangal. If you want some decent Turkish cuisine, as opposed to the clearly inferior kebab houses, then give Hasan Meze and Mangal a go as this is what Turkish cuisine should be known for - not some disgusting meat on a spit.
