They've done a cracking job on the beer garden here, the tree house and big marble table with the bonfire in the evenings are especially good touches. The bar is also nicely decked out, with some great beers, although a tad on the pricey side for Brixton.

I'm sorry to say service at the bar is slow as hell at times, and the sunday roast took half the afternoon to arrive, and wasn't the best.

These are easy things to fix though and I hope they do as I only live round the corner!

The Hope & Anchor is quality. Good beer, friendly staff, amusing locals, good cheap food and one of the best beer gardens inside zone 2.
