An £830.00 bill for 9 of us at I-Thai provided a very mediocre meal with large helpings but little quality. My Tom Yum Ga soup had some form of scum floating on top and my Pad Thai (the simplest and most basic Thai dish) was bland and tasteless - I get better quality in my local pub (The Old Parrs Head) for a quarter of the price.

Never go to The Hempel Hotel or I-Thai restaurant! The owner is the rudest man I have ever met!

Despite the restaurant being half empty on a Saturday night with not one celebrity in sight, the owner seemed to think that his hotel is only worthy enough for celebrities or royalty.

As we were not either of these, we were made to feel very unwelcome at I-Thai and had to pay for the privilege. Good food but so not worth it!

I-Thai is a beautiful Thai restaurant near Bayswater. I-Thai isn't cheap but the service is excellent and the food top-drawer.
