Very bland veal. Expensive and tasteless. Potatoes badly cooked. All in all, I feel stolen and would be happier if I had gone to a McDonalds. Not to mention my wife's gnocchi was so small we had to go for another meal at the pub right after.

My wife and I travel to London from the US annually and have not missed stopping into Il Castelletto for the past 5 years. The atmosphere is quaint and friendly, it's a great place for quiet and enjoyable Italian fare in London.

I love Il Castelletto! Luigi is a great host, especially after a great meal when "Mama's grappa" appears. Some of my best times in London with my good friend Mr. Yeats were in this fine eatery just down from the British museum.



It's been a few years since I've been there but I will visit my old friend soon!
