I have been going to this restaurant for a few years now with one of my friends and we consider it "our restaurant". The food is delicious and I've always found the service to be good and the staff pleasant. It's also quite reasonably priced. Their asparagus risotto is a particular favourite (and we're not vegetarians!!) Grazie mille Il Pizzaiolo!

Terrible service, manners and attitude seems to be the new strategy for Il Pizzaiolo. Having eaten and booked tables at this restaurant for 5 years, I'm afraid to say it's seriously gone down the pan!



On one occasion we waited 45 minutes for our food only to get a wrong order. When we asked for the manager, he told us that we should expect this to happen because they were busy (they weren't even full!). He then went on to say if we didn't like it, we should eat somewhere else. Clearly business is too good for them so best to go somewhere else!

Il Pizzaiolo doesn’t pull any punches. As the name suggests, it does pizza, and I can tell you it does it well. Let’s have a round of applause for Il Pizzaiolo!
