I've been there a couple of times with my girlfriend and I would highly recommend it. Yes its a little more pricey than some of the other Italians in Putney, but its definitely worth it. The mains aren't too expensive at £12-20 each, but the food and the atmosphere makes it worth paying a little extra!

I think Isola del Sole deservers 4 stars! It's a little bit pricier, but the home-made pasta is excellent, and Sardinian wines and desserts make this a real authentic experience in a very cosy, and friendly atmosphere. Nobody hassles you to order more when you've finished one course, so it's perfect for a special night out with friends or a date when you just want to indulge, sit and chat the night away.

Isola del Sole has one of those cosy, relaxed atmospheres that you dream of in a restaurant. No pressure off the staff, lovely laidback atmosphere – if more places were as chilled as Isola del Sole I’d eat out more often.
