Have had a couple of take outs and an eat in at Kiplings in the last few months and has been great each time. Service is fine, although they do have a good go at upselling when ordering which I guess is their job, but not always welcome! The food's really tasty and is quite light compared to some curries which can be way too oily/ fatty. It's a few ££ more expensive per main dish than the 'typical' curry house, but definitely worth it. Naan's are great, looks like they make them themselves rather than the ubiquitous buy-in version you get in a lot of curry houses these days..its a detail that shows a bit of quality. One of the best currys I've had in London.

kiplings is under new management, and is serving the best indian food in london right about now. Its a really lovely atmosphere and the price is kind of cheap for a restaurant in highgate. kiplings is the one.

love this place to bits, i have been to other restuarants around london but this one really took me away, i love the atmosphere, the food and the service, thank you Kiplings a really good restaurant. malcolm
