I bought a groupon voucher for a 36 piece mixed sushi meal for two, it was supposed to be salmon, prawn, chicken katsu and calafornian roll. I ended up getting it as a takeaway because I realised the groupon was going to run out! Left my house at 5.30pm I live half an hour away and I got to finchley road and drove up and down for like an hour trying to find the place! In the end rang the restaurant who got a delivery driver to meet me with it so I cant complain about the customer service. However the sushi was vile! I got 6 tiny pieces of what I can only guess must have been ''salmon'' in actual fact it was cream cheese with half a mm of something orange which was tasteless, like I say it must have been salmon! There was an unidentifiable one which was like some kind of salad - lettuce and some kind of batter or onion flakes, loads of breaded chicken which had a funny smell to it and 6 Californian rolls - the crab-stick was tasteless, I would never buy from here again and certainly not recommend Koi Sushi and Noodle Bar to anyone!

If you think your going for a deal. Think wrong! Not only was the food tasteless and evidently not prepared freshly. They will charge you £5 service charge per head! That's more than you'll pay for a top restaurant. Overall a shit experience. I do not recommend.

We went to Koi Sushi with the Groupon voucher and were offered only sushi rolls with salmon in. They even gave us one roll with smoked salmon and cream cheese! That's not sushi ...that's for people that buy sushi in Tesco and think that is real sushi! In actual fact the sushi tasted like sushi from Tesco and was DEFINATELY prepared in advance. To make matters worse at the table you are presented with a menu of many more varieties of sushi, hot food and appetizers which costs much less than what we paid. When we asked the manager about this he was very argumentative and even insulted us. Also be warned they will slap a five pounds per head service charge on each diner! I also complained that four out of six of the rolls were cut into five pieces rather than the normal six pieces which meant that my husband and I would be unable to share the rolls equally on more than half the meal! That's not what I call a dining experience. When I asked the manager about this he was rude and defensive and did not even give me an answer as to why the chef does this. Be warned this is a very sub standard meal for a lot of money! You are better off going to Sushi Mama in Edgware, Sushi Mania in Golders Green or Sushi Japan in North Finchley!

Absolutely appalling. Service is dreadful and ambience non-existent - the waitress wanted us to reuse our salad plates for our sushi and the wine they offer is atrocious. They were playing Christmas songs. Went with the Groupon deal and they slapped on £5 service charge when they didn't even clear our plates away. Very disappointing and the manager is incredibly rude. NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS.

Everything had tasted like it had come out of the fridge or a Tescos fridge ! The food is OK but for the prices it charges, the food is unacceptable and you will feel ripped out of your money. My wife and I will certainly not be dining here again

I didn't expect much from the place, and so I was right in doing so! The decor is extremely cheap and bland, minimal cost to decoration evident. The food was slow, moreover the tables before us were served prior to us. Food was however ok, however no care had been made for the simplest of dining rules I.e the fork being served on the left, plates were not given, menus were not taken. Furthermore service charge is priced PER PERSON so if you think your getting a deal via the vouchers you're not. Overall a 2* service, definitely not to take anyone on a date to but for cheap take away service it's fair.

Ordered this using the groupon deal thinking it would be a good offer but was slightly scared after reading some of the recent reviews on this site and I had every right to be. The comment below comparing it to tesco sushi might have been slighltly extreme but I could see where they were coming from.
The food was ok and that's being extremely generous. The portions were good but the food was too bland. We ordered a king prawn noodle soup which was tasteless, and some of the sushi was dreadfull.

I usually hate to be criticial of restaurants but this restaurant has left me not wanting to eat Japanese food for a long time...

Tesco has better sushi than this place. Worst sushi experience I've had in London. Poor quality fish, the service was lacking, and the restaurant was very cold. Our soup was luke warm, and the saki was heated in the bottle in a microwave. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Plenty of Sushi restaurants out there, however this one is definetly worth a visit. Great choice, and the freshness of the fish makes this the place to go for great sushi. My wife and I had a lovely time, were well looked after and will be going back very soon. JR
