Went for the Saturday lunch buffet. It was appalling. One teacup was dirty, as was the plastic jug it was served from. The staff clearly did not care at all - I assume they think everyone is a tourist who won't return. The food was poor with very little meat in any of the dishes and the prawn crackers and chicken satay were inedible, yet they had notices on the tables telling customers they would be charged for food not eaten. They put a 10% service charge on the bill, but we didn't pay it - after all, we had fetched our own food from the buffet!

We went to try the £8.50 buffet last night. The service and food were terrible. The waitress was rude.

The optional 10% service charge was mandatory. They packed us into a corner right into the faces of another couple.

Was very uncomfortable eating. I have never in my life ever wanted to leave a restaurant so fast.

I’ve only eaten at Kowloon once, but I will definitely be returning. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly.
Kowloon is a wonderful place.
