I went with my girlfriend for a nice Japanses meal. Its was delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful. The manager gave me helpful advice on which dishes to try which was so helpful since it was my first time trying japanese food. My girlfriend loved it and although its not a cheap meal, its well worth it for the great food. It had a nice japanese crowd atmosphere in there as well, a proper japanese vibe!!I love it! Definately recommend it!! Will definately be going there again!!!!

Never, ever go to this place. I queried the £3 per person "cover charge" and the ridiculous 15 % service charge. Our bill was brought before we asked and when I asked for a breakdown I received a very evil look. When I queried something that seemed to be the last straw and I was physically pushed out of the door. There was nobody else in there and I am not remotely surprised. They should be shut down.

The staff at Kura were really helpful and the food (be it a little small in portion) was a fine example of simple tasty Japanese cuisine. Be prepared to spend a little more than you expect, but you won’t be disappointed. If unsure, go for the chef recommendations.
