I just had the most fantastic lunch in this cosy restaurant off the high street. Lovely setting: pretty, intimate and relaxed. The waitress recommended me pollack with sauteed potatoes and girolles mushrooms, which was divine! The wine list is short but all the best of France. My boyfriend had the veal chop with roquefort sauce and was so happy he's still talking about it!
And fresh food for cheaper than Cote bistro, i say yes!

A great little restaurant tucked away next to the church in central Richmond. Very good food and service. Inside the tables can be a tad close together making private conversation a bit awkward, but on a sunny afternoon the courtyard is lovely.

A few friends and I met up here to have a light meal before going on to Richmond theatre. Being a fine afternoon, we ate in the very private courtyard. What a delight! They have an evening prix fixe deal on through the week for £17 which we all took advantage of. Food was delightful and simple and the service refreshingly attentive. Highly recommended for when visiting the area.

I love French food and the offerings at La Buvette are great. I am corresponding with a French girl I met on the internet so might invite her over to La Buvette to impress her!
