Meant to go to La Cocotte for a long time as we live locally. We finally made it last night and it was not a disappointment. The food was very good and the price was very reasonable. Love those dishes in the Le Creuset pots... so cute and rusty. Their Tarte Tatin is out of this world. Service was excellent - prompt and friendly. Will definitely recommend it to anyone and we will be returning soon too!

La Cocotte is, without a doubt, the best French restaurant in London. Tucked away on Fleet Road, minutes from Hampstead Heath train station, it is an absolute gem of this area. I have been here twice now, and on both occasions - I was hugely impressed. The food is absolutely amazing - so delicious, and really reasonable in price - with a good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. The staff are friendly, warm and attentive. There is plenty of space between tables. The loos are in great condition. Try it. You will not be disappointed, I promise. I can't wait to go back!
