It appears that you can't give the review a no star rating which it should be rated as.
I went with my family of 4 for lunch.
3 out of 4 things we tried to order weren't available.
The lasagne was the most revolting attempt at lasagne I've ever tasted...my son (who eats virtually anything with great enthusiasm and was very hungry had 2 mouthfuls and stopped)
Nothing was hot and the staff were not particularly friendly.
Revolting food and a disgustingly dirty cafe.
Such a shame for a great setting and what could be a great cafe.
Back to Prckham Rye Park and their wonderful cafe.

I went to the cafe on Saturday with my family and will never return.
My husband had to return my son's sausages twice because they were not cooked through. They were still raw in the middle after being returned to us - so we just threw them away. The staff's response was that of a 'so what' attitude. My pizza wasn't great either, it left a bad taste in my mouth - very odd cheese on it. How hard is it to get a cheese and tomato pizza right? They are italian after all. Needless to say none of the meals were finished and we will not being returning. Instead we walked over to the playground and got some food from the burger van there - it was great!

Great little cafe by the lake...went on a friday night and they had a great band playing and munched on a tasty bbq...def go again!

The Gondola cafe is a great little cafe, popular with families. The ice cream at the Gondola Cafe is amazing!

La Gondola Al Parco is one of the worst cafè in London.

The owners are unkind and are hungry of money. What about the ice cream? It comes from the worst italian discount store!
