I know La Mancha to be a good place to eat so went there with my parents 3 days ago to celebrate my step dad's birthday. However, it isn't the La Mancha it used to be. All three of us think that we got severe food poisoning and when we rang the restaurant to let them know they were uninterested.

La Mancha is my favourite tapas/Spanish restaurant. It has the perfect blend of atmosphere and decent authentic tapas. The bar area is a great place to hang out too, even just for a few bottles of beer and some olives.

A nice, busy, buzzy restaurant with an excellent choice of tapas. Despite turning up at 9pm on a Friday night with no reservation they managed to find us a table for 2 within 20 minutes or so, and service was swift and friendly. The food was fantastic, and the amount of food left on the table at the end of our meal was no reflection on its quality, more a desire on our part to try a bit of everything!

Only downside (and I'm being picky here) was that with a full house volume levels made it difficult to converse, but I think that all added to the atmosphere of the place.

Recommended.
