Very disappointing. Ordered the fillet steak with wild mushrooms, medium rare. What arrived didn't look or taste like a fillet steak at all - perhaps a trimmed sirloin. It came well done, with a thick gloopy sauce that felt like it came from a packet. To top it off the 'wild' mushrooms were sliced button mushrooms. Felt pretty cheated paying 20 quid for this, and when I asked the waitress to check regarding the type of steak, there was some shouting of 'beef steak' coming from the kitchen, and she never returned! They also auto-tipped themselves. Al Forno, up the road, has served me great fillet steak in the past, has a home cooked feel to it, and is better value - I just didn't feel that La Nonna had much of a clue about food, sorry. Perhaps their pasta dishes are better, but not sure I'll be giving it a second chance.

Just love this restaurant, staff are very helpful and food very good. What more could anyone want.

La Nonna is a quality Italian restaurant - the food is great and the service is pretty darn good too. If you're looking for an authentic Italian place then go for La Nonna.

Dreadful experience. Overpriced chavvy place, constant pressure to order drinks, decor to make you wince, vegetables seemed microwaved, deserts straight from the 70s. The high-point was a car horn used to 'celebrate' someone's birthday. Sub-TGI Friday's. It'd get less than 1 star if it was possible.
