My husband and I went to La Perla in June 2006. The food was ok but the way we were treated was appaling. Our meal should have cost £32.00 but our bill came to £48.00. When we confronted the staff their smiles turned sour and they were really rude.



They tried to charge us £20.00 for a £12.00 bottle of wine. After arguments we finally paid £41.00 for everything. Where the extra 8 pounds came from I still don't know. I will absolutely not recommend La Perla, this tourist trap, to anyone!

I hired out the basement room in La Perla for a birthday bash for 60 people. The staff, venue, food and atmosphere was fantastic! Good value for money and superb food.
