La Piragua has delicious, massive steaks, served on a cutting board with home made guacamole, and roasted potatoes. Friendly service and very reasonably priced. La Piragua has been recently refurbished, but you can still find a few people playing chess in the back.

I admit I had high expectations of La Piragua, and unfortunately it didn't meet them. The steak was really disappointing and I don't think I'll be returning.

La Piragua is not somewhere I'd recommend.
