I came for a Thursday afternoon lunch and gossipy drink with my friend and La Rascasse was just the place to do it. The staff were fantastic, helpful and welcoming but not intrusive and the food was excellent too. They cook the perfect poached egg! Really nice to find a place in Beckenham so full of character amidst all the dross and chain bar blandness that claim so much of it. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed, well cooked lunch.

Visited La Rascasse for the second time last night and was just as impressed as the first time. Had a drink before dinner in the lively bar and then went to the more intimate Restaurant for a delicious French dinner. The ambience was great, the service perfect and the whole evening was truly one to write about. A great family owned place surrounded now by nearly every high street chain you can think of. There is something special about this place and although it gets super busy at the weekend, mid-week has a really pleasant buzz to it.

Thoroughly enjoyed my Birthday Dinner Surprise at La Rascasse. Will defo be going back. First rate atmosphere, cuisine and polite, charming staff. The Fillet steak was melt in the mouth. Very much recommended.

First visit. We found the food, wine and staff were all first class. The table had been booked earlier that day and although it was a Thursday I reckon we were lucky. I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. The menu is wide and varied and covers all tastes. One of our party was a veggie and really enjoyed her meal. The front of house staff were very helpful and quick. Nothing was too much trouble. The food arrived hot and well presented. It was tasty including the sides which I find at times can let down an otherwise good meal. We opted to try the Argentinian Malbec , which was excellent and reasonably priced. The puddings are to die for!
The decor was pleasent and if I could find a point to grumble about it was the "busy cross roads" just outside the kitchen and on the route to the toilets. No accidents on my night but I suspect there have been a few.
No hesitation in giving 5 stars. We will be back.

La Rascasse is a really nice restaurant. Went for a meal a few weeks ago and it was lovely - good service and a welcoming atmosphere.

I'd recommend La Racasse for an enjoyable evening out - it's not too expensive either.

My boyfriend and I went to La Rascasse for dinner as it was our anniversary and I have to say I was impressed. The food was great but the relaxed bar was where we really had a nice time.

The atmosphere was lovely and we were able to sit and have a chat over a couple of bottles of really good wine. That’s the splendid thing about La Rascasse – there’s such a good wine menu and the staff know what to recommend.
