La Tasca gives a bit of a varied service, which isn't really what you want from a chain (there is a more authentic place - la Siesta - nearby, so La Tasca should be marketing its consistency). I've been twice; once with a party from work. We had the set menu, which was plentiful and tasty. Unfortunately I ALSO went with a group of friends another time (roughly the same sized group) and the same set menu wasn't up to scratch. What a shame because when it is on form it is a great place for a large group to eat in a slightly more sophisticated party atmosphere than the other chains thereabouts.

The splendid atmosphere of La Tasca, generated by wonderful staff who are extremely attentive, means that this is always bound to be an excellent venue in which to dine.


The food is gorgeous and, my Spanish girlfriend tells me, very authentic. Clearly La Tasca has got a winning formula - I urge you to try it!
