We went here mid evening mid week and found only one or two tables in use but this will change when more people try it and repeat the experience. The restaurant is spacious and warm but the furniture is plain so do not expect luxury. The maitre'd is a man of great experience and is anxious to please - genuinely taking note about one of my party not wanting food too hot and offering menu advice and instructing the kitchen with care.
The food was excellent and we selected from all over the menu and nothing disappointed.
There is an adequate bar selection.
All in all , very good. Not a place for a special occasion but we'll be back again and again.
In an area with stiff competition - Needoo Grill, Tayyabs, Lahore One etc. all within walking distance - we were wary about trying a new place without checking reviews first - but hunger got the better of us and we grabbed a takeaway as it was the closest place to us.
Have to say, the standard of food was absolutely superb. Great tarka daal, properly spicy saag, chicken tikka was perfection, bread was good...the brief chat with the staff and watching them deal with other customers, they seemed quiet, polite and professional enough. I'm glad we didn't see some of the scathing reviews on here first, they almost sound like a different place!
Can't say what dining in would be like atmosphere wise, the place was clean though quite sparse, but as for the food, 4.5 out of 5, seriously one of the best Indian meals we've had in East London.
AVOID! We should have known better, the place was empty when we got there at 9.45pm on a Thursday evening. The place was cold, no heating seemed to be on and the waiter rushed us into ordering.
However the worst was catching the waiter with his hand down his trousers scratching or playing the with himself whilst looking at my wife. We both got up and left instantly. A serious acusation, but one we are prepared to stand by in court if the restaurant wants to take it that far.
One of the most upsetting restaurant experiences we have ever had. Still shaking 24hrs later and considering reporting to the police.
Had a great evening at this place, loved the food, music and decor.
Karahi chicken and karahi gosht are a must. The sweet peshwari naan was lovely too. The kheer was immense.

Lahore Two is terrible, don't go. I tried this place instead of my regular haunt. The chicken looked and tasted as if it had been cooked and re-cooked a dozen times. The wine was tasteless and the waitress tried to sell us Naan bread even though I had said we were allergic to wheatflour. All for the price of £26. Do yourself a favour and avoid Lahore Two.
We went with a group of eight to Lahore Two Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The atmosphere was great with Bollywood songs to watch, the service was excellent and the food even better.
It was the best Indian food I've had and the kheer was delicious for dessert with fresh coffee. I definitely recommend Lahore Two for the best Indian cuisine!
This place sucks, the white wine at Lahore Two was like water (warm water at that) and the service was slow (even though there were only four people in there). It even took two waiters to add the bill up. The food was like a microwave meal and the staff were dippy and not quite there.
Lahore Two is one to avoid I'm afraid.
