I went to L'Art du Fromage with six friends last Friday night, being serious cheese lovers we had been looking forward to it for ages, we had high expectations and we weren't disappointed!

We went for the second sitting so arrived at 9:30pm, the smell of cheese hits you as soon as you walk into the welcoming little restaurant! We had such a good time that we didn't leave until about 11:30pm, we didn't feel under pressure to hurry our meal at all, unlike in so many London restaurants. The owners and staff were charming, friendly and attentive, the atmosphere relaxed and the cheese was amazing!

Firstly we were given a complimentary shot of gazpacho which was delicious, then we had some wonderful fondues (all you can eat... we rose to the challenge!), and three of us ordered a large cheeseboard and a smaller "character" cheese board to share. One of the owners took the trouble to come over and explain to us where every cheese was from and a little information about it - they are obviously passionate about what they are doing and it shows, it really added to the experience to know what we were eating, and it meant we could savour it and discuss which were our favourites. The cheese boards came with a lovely variety of dried fruits, chutneys and bread, it was all very well presented.

For pudding I had the creme brulee which was lovely and some of my friends had the apple tarte which was also very pleasant. The wine was good and the bill was surprisingly reasonable for how much we had eaten. All in all it was a fantastic experience, for cheese lovers it is an absolute dream! The owners really deserve to do well, I will definitely be returning, and I'm sure my friends will all want to come along too!

The last saturday, we went to eat to a new and great restaurant "L'art du fromage".
We order a "goat cheese fondue" and a cheese with a very good white wine and it was delicious!
The place is lovely, we ate on the mezzanine while listening to french music.
The owners are kind, passionate and deserve a lot of sucess.
We love it and we return to eat in this restaurant tonight.
All cheese and french food lovers, you will not be disappointed!
