The place serves the best authentic Thai food and the Staff here are one of the friendliest staff I have seen around. Extremely polite, caring and hospitable. The Thai staff is well acquainted with the menu, and make good recommendations.

Great food at good prices, friendly and welcoming staff (maybe they've changed management since the 2009 reviews below... don't recognise that at all!). Not much atmosphere on the weekend, but a great local Thai, and very busy with mid-week post-work drinkers.
Great food, nice pub, fairly recently renovated.
Ideal for lunch and serve decent pints.
Only downside is the guy who is in charge of seating in the restaurant area is an 'A' grade w*nker! Never met such a jobsworth in all my life.
I've never been to a pub with such rude and downright insulting staff in my life!
Having gone to the pub to meet some friends in order to quietly watch the Champions League, I went to the bar to ask for a drink.
Having been asked by the manager behind the bar what I wanted, he proceeded to refuse me service, and then to instruct the rest of the staff behind the bar not to do so either, even on production of i.d.
When I politely asked the manager why I was being refused service, he simply repeatedly told me he 'didn't want to' and 'didn't need a reason', before asking me to leave.
I found this behaviour completely unprovoked and totally unacceptable, and had to leave my friends who were already sitting with their drinks.
I find it hard to believe that this pub has any customers left with such obnoxious staff in charge.
I wouldn't recommend this pub to anybody!
I used to think that this was a pleasant little pub until i received what i can only describe as the worst customer service ive ever experienced. My friends and I were sitting down in the pub, with some of us having ordered food and or drink. The landlord after half an hour without warning asked my friends to leave without even giving them a warning for them to buy a drink. On two occasions i tried to reason with the landlord but he turned out to be the most rude obnoxious man ive come across and used his pathetic conversation skills to repeat the same sentence over and over again without letting me get in a word. Dont degrade yourself by giving this pub any of your money.
I quite often go to Latymers for business lunches. It doesn't get too noisy in there but the atmosphere's not too stuffy either.
Tasty food and fairly cheap too. Latymers is not bad at all!
