Went last night for dinner for my boyfriend's birthday and had the tasting menu. It was lovely food and really tasty. To be honest though the most outstanding thing for us was how great the service was. We could not fault them, they were super efficient and welcoming whilst still being highly professional. The manager of this restaurant should be very proud as should Tristan Welch. Fine food and fine service, a memorable time. This is one to watch!

Have eaten a couple of times here in the last week. Lunch menu incredible value at £18.00 for three courses, perfectly cooked spider crab risotto to start, sea bream with the smoothest of cob nut potato puree's, perfumed sorbets to finish...how can they do this at this price?
Dinner is a treat in this cosy intimate room, perfect lighting, excellent attentive personal service, cooking is of the highest standards and offers real value at this level - veal sweetbreads, roast scallops, white Alba truffle risotto, fillet of beef and to finish a masterpiece of a millefeuille cut at the table
Good wine list and sommelier
All in all a real find, will surely be a contender for a star next year
Tristan Welch is a chef of rare talent, a great restaurant
