This was a delightful introduction to Lebanese cuisine. My partner an I loved the relaxing atmosphere that was present from the moment we walked in.

The suburb style of LayaLina may be intimidating at first, but don't be so naive. The prices are reasonable and we were treated like royalty. The staff were fantastic.

With first class service and sincere attitude, it is most certainly a place that I shall be visiting again. The food was most enjoyable and manageable. The cold Mezze selection was beautiful. The cost for 'Vine leaves, hommus muhamara and spicy cheese' was fairly priced in comparison to other dining experiences in the area.

The food is far too delicious for taking out and misses the whole Lebanese experience. I suggest eating in for the full works. The restaurant provides a fantastic setting and we will certainly attempt more dishes very soon! It will be worth our while.

Hope you enjoy it all the same.

Sam and Kimberly.

My best friend organised her boyfriend's 30th Birthday party at Layalina and she recommend the venue to me for my Birthday. I invited 25 people for my party last week, and I just had to write this review for them, as it was one memorable night. We started the night at the bar, the cocktails that bartender recommended were delicious, especially the Layalina salute. For dinner we had choose the £35 sharing menu. The food was delicious! We were mostly girls, not all big meat eaters but the main courses were all cooked to perfection! The chicken breast was tender and flavorsome. As it is Lebanese, we didn't expect much from their vegetarian dishes. We were shocked again at how tasty the Artichokes hearts stew was. All in all, the food was amazing. They also had a belly dancer at one point. The dancer was very friendly, she got everyone on their feet and danced with her. We all learned a few moves :-) It was definitely a fun night, amazing food and great entertainment. Layalina is the perfect place, if you have a special celebration. The staff there is very attentive and helpful.

Went to Laya'Lina for the first time with my girlfriend last night and had a nice time. We got there earlier than expected so decided to have a drink at the bar. We actually sat in the lounge area at the back of the bar and enjoyed the mojitos we ordered. To dinner, we went for a mezze selection all of which was produced perfectly. I'm a big fan of Lebanese food and if like me, you're tired of same old Maroush and fancy something a little different, then this place is definitely for you. Food was top-class, as was the service (the owner even came round to ask if everything was okay) and considering it's on Beauchamp Place, it was reasonably priced.
My girlfriend and I shall definitely be returning!

My boy friend and I went there on Saturday on a friend's recommendation. It was fully booked so there was already a good buzz. Upstairs was full so we set downstairs in the main restaurant. I loved the decor, it was very boutiqueie. A breath of fresh air from all these "minimalist" restaurant now a days. The night just got better and better. Although they were fully booked, the service was still perfect. Now, the food, wow! It was amazing! It was the best Lebanese food I have ever tasted! The only thing I wasn't 100% about was the Arabic live singing, it went on a bit long. But defo loved the belly dancing. Fun, fun, fun! They also have this cute little lounge bar, again, loved the decor in there. We finished the night in the bar with a bottle of champ. All in all, it was the best restaurant I have visted in absolutely ages. Highly recommended!

Whilst I have been to many restaurants, I have never felt the need to right a review- until now. First off, I will say that my experience here was the worst experience I have had in a restaurant. What made this situation worse was that it was my friend’s 30th Birthday party.8.30pm: Seated in the restaurant with my group8.40pm: Wrong cocktail drink sent to 4 people in the group- stated that even if they brought the right drink, they would need to charge up anyway.09.00pm: Our group orders starters and mains 09.30pm…. Waiting for starters10.00pm……waiting for starters10.30pm…. 2 out of 10 starters come through10.50pm……waiting for 3 starters11.10pm……all the starters come through but, wrong orders for 4 of the guys, but we eat it anyway as by this time we are famished.11.40pm……. Where is our food? The manager comes round and informs us that they have not started cooking the mains11.50pm……we need to catch the last train homeso to summarise, not only did we not eat- even though this was booked weeks in advanced. We were ignored through the night and had to practically tackle the waiters to get their attention. We started to think that the restaurant management had something against us personally. Stay away from Laya'Lina. I will never be going back. I went to sleep with an empty stomach with the knowledge that my friend's 30th birthday was ruined.
