I LOVE this place! The breakfast I had a La Bouche today was so fantastic I haven't stopped thinking about it all day! I have always been very impressed by what's on offer at La Bouche but this morning my combination of delicious smoked salmon with nutty rye toast with a side dish of creamy egg mayo really was out of this world.
The smiling waitress and the sunny outside table I managed to nab only complimented the best breakfast I've had for ages.

I feel compelled to share just how stinkingly poor the service from the staff is here. I've gone in several times in the belief that the staff were just having a bad moment, but on aach time I've encountered the same boggling hostility. Simply cannot be bothered to tolerate that, and continue to encourage others not to.

I can only say:AVOID THIS PLACE. They have forgotten that customers are actually paying them for their service and that they are NOT doing us a favour. Very very rude.

It is such a blessing to have La Bouche only minutes away from my studio. They offer yummy freshly made sandwiches and quality coffee.
Service has also much improved recently. Overall, it's an inspiring place which helps get through the day with a smile.

I have lived in the area for many years and have frequented this place on many occasions.

This Sunday, I could take the ineptitude and indifference of the staff no more.

I simply had to walk out after having been standing there for over 10 minutes, only to be ignored by each new server in favour of the first person they happen to glance upon.

Service has always been terrible here. Sandwiches get given to others that happened to order what you did 10 minutes previously, and staff stare dumbstruck at the tills trying to work out how to use them.

If the manager hired people that thought as much about their service as they did their clothes, I would be going back.

Until that happens, I shall sadly (because the food is great) never go back.
