Heard about this amazing restaurant for ages and never had the opportunity to visit. Finally a friend to me there by surprise and it surpassed all my expectations. The minute you walk in you felt like you were in a bustling parisian restaurant. There was french torch songs playing in the background. The maitre'd was a charming french man who sat us promptly. We had a really nice table facing the room and we could inspect all the clients entering and leaving the room.
It was so fascinating to see such an eclectic collection of people in one room. Its very clear that the ladies make a commendable effort to dress up to compliment the decor. Its so nice to see people dress up to go out these days when people don't even dress up to go to the opera.I must say it was a very appealing crowd that comes here.
The room was all that i have read and even better in reality. Its like watching a movie that does justice to the book. Its so refreshing to see a truly unique interior. The interior is tasteful kitsch and i can see if others try it , it would probably look tacky. There is just the right balance fun and glamour. Dining out after all is about escapism. Here you are transported into another world. The perfect venue to be if you want to forget your worries.Les Trois Garcons is a converted victorian pub but manages to dispel the heavy feel of a normal pub.
The food is pure joy and very expertly executed. I was expecting the food not to be on the same level as the ambience but i was pleasantly surprised. The food is on par to any of the michelin star restaurants i have been to.The public probably assume the food would not be the focus but in this instant it is.
The service was efficient and polite. The staff are obviously well informed about what they were selling. There were ingredients that i did not recognize and was enlighten by the knowledgeable staff.
It has been a long time that i have been so taken by a dining experience that i felt i had to share it with others.

Yummy is the first word that comes to mind. This word is apt for the food, decor and ambience. The location is quite weird. You would never have thought that a restaurant such as this would exist in this area. It's quite barren and grey but its a hive of activity on a friday night. This is an area i am not familiar with but it reminds me of the meat packing district in New York. There is a certain vibe that i like. Their sister bar Loungelover could easily be at home in New York. That bar is something else! Its so inviting and warm and theatrical. The cocktails are great. A different crowd slightly to Les Trois Garcons, perhaps a bit younger but still fashionable and hip.
Coming back to the restaurant proper, i was so impressed with the food. The portions are very generous, i ate everything though. Each dish is a discovery for our taste buds. The chefs have a good understanding of flavours and are not afraid to experiment. There were a few ingredients that we have not tried before, so it was also an educational experience for us.
The interiors are amazing, there are no decoration stereotypes here. Glamour is the key word here. We really enjoyed looking around and talking about the unusual pieces. There was a bejeweled tiger and a crowned giraffe. All this does not steal away from the professionalism of this restaurant. The thing that stands out the most is the quality of the ingredients and the friendliness of the staff.Would be more than happy to recommend it to my friends.

A very different restaurant. You don't feel like you are in london when you are there. The decor is really unusual and interesting. We spotted so many fun touches. Its cosy without looking like your grandma's house. There's a great vintage handbag collection. I wouldn' t mind having some of them. The staff are quite informative about the history of the place.
I was also impressed by the staff's food and wine knowledge. Apparently the chef chooses to use the most seasonal local product. It really shows in the cooking as it was really fresh and tasty. The combination of ingredients are very clever and unexpected and it really works. Some of the dishes were an eye opener.
The service was impeccable and friendly. We were informed about our out by time which we were aware of anyways when we made the booking. The service was very smooth and well timed. We managed a 3 course meal in 2 hours and felt unhurried. The possibility to carry on to Loungelover was very welcomed.
To sum it up the whole evening was really enjoyable and memorable.I find it difficult to find another place to match up to this place for glamour, decadence , good food and excellent service.

Had a really enjoyable time here. The food was really good. The atmosphere was really unique. There was an interesting crowd there. Its very difficult to describe the typical clientele as they are so varied. Went on to their bar Loungelover after and that was fun. My only gripe was that we arrived late for our booking and had to leave before desserts as the second booking was waiting at the door. Next time we will come on time.

Had the pleasure to be invited by my boyfriends parents to this incredible restaurant. Can't believe i have never been. The room is absolute theater and every where you look there's something to catch your eye. It was really busy when we arrived and the manageress was a little curt but that all changed when the room was more settled.
The food was really in tune with the decor, its artistically laid out and tasted every bit as as good as it looked. My boyfriend's parents are regulars here and i can understand why. Les Trois Garcons left a lasting impression and i will be bringing my best friends there soon.

Amazing dinner at Les Trois Garcons. We had the tasting menu and were duly impressed. Its not an easy feat as there were 5 of us and we all dine out a lot. The portion were just right leaving us enough room for the delicious dessert. We also had the wines to accompany the tasting menu which was very well chosen.
The price is really fair for the produce they provided. Great care has gone into selecting the right ingredients. The waiter we had, explained and described each dish expertly. They were also very kind to my friend who was vegetarian. This place was recommended by a friend and i was truly enchanted by the whole evening. Its a must on the london circiut as most guide books have indicated.

We had a fantastic time on friday night. We had the first sitting and continued our evening on at their equally fabulous bar Loungelover located just behind the restaurant. We found the two hours allocated for the dinner was unhurried and gave us enough time to admire the eccentric interiors.
The service was really professional without being stuffy. The staff are really well informed about their menu and wines. There was an amazing amuse bouche to begin our wonderful gastronomic adventure. The chefs uses seasonal produce locally as much as possible we were told by our lovely waiter. The scallops were incredibly fresh and juicy. They also use very unusual greens. The combinations are surprising and innovative
The clientele are a very interesting mixture just like the decor. Its very refreshing to see such a wide cross section of people in one room. This restaurant obviously appeals to the more adventurous as we spotted people we know who normally frequents Kensington and Knightsbridge.
Ending the evening at Loungelover was absolutely prefect as we could continue the evening in the same decadent manner but in a different ambiance.Everyone agreed both venues are true London institutions and the ingredients of making London fun.
