L'Etranger Restaurant & Les Vins de L'Etranger is a nice place, with nice food, but is nothing really special. The wine list is good but a bit overpriced, and the sommelier is a bit pushy. I gave him free choice for my wine and he came back with a bottle costing £250! Anyone could do this!

L'Etranger Restaurant & Les Vins de L'Etranger is definitely the best Japanese/ French restaurant in London. The food at L'Etranger Restaurant & Les Vins de L'Etranger is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed. If you are after a good wine you can be sure to find it thanks to L’Etranger’s extensive wine list.

I and a group of 20 went to Opal, the downstairs bat at L'Etranger, and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is intimate and although the bar is small, it was not overcrowded. None of us had a problem getting to the bar and for the larger rounds the very professional staff always leant a hand.

The music was good to boot and the crowd very friendly. I definitely recommend it for those wantig to stay clear of the commercial London night out.

This place has just such a lovely atmosphere, it is a local favourite. The food is always superb and I appreciate the subtle additions and changes to the menu to reflect seasonal treats. One of the new additions amongst the mains, the scallops, were just fantastic - the size of a poached egg and just melted in your mouth. On the side dishes, you should try the aubergines, they put cashews with them and they are just so delicious. I'm usually a black cod fan (whatever they do they always do it well) but I'm glad I tried something new.

L'Etranger serves up some absolutely delightful cuisine and the service is top notch. I shall be returning again and again!
