Had a great time here on my birthday with a group of friends; its such a fun place to be with the OTT decor and friendly opera singer (who seranaded me in my native tongue -welsh)
There were some large parties there but we had good service and my meal was delicious - one of my friends is a chef he was impressed by the quality and price of the food too
The murals in the toilets are obscene but thats part of the fun (should be clearer warnings maybe)

I visited Little Bay last night with a group of friends and had an utterly fantastic time.

It's a place that really has an impact from the moment you walk in - in fact we walked in just as one of the opera singers was mid-song right by the door so were serenaded as we stepped over the threshold!

The booths feel cosy and private so it's fantastic for an intimate dinner with friends and they're so lavishly decorated you feel like you're in an opera box. We did spot a random coat hook and a school-bell style fire alarm hidden away in the midst of the decoration which made us laugh for a while - the whole place has such an eclectic feel and climbing the narrow steps to the top boxes above the bar feel like you're climbing into a bunk bed!

The staff were friendly and whilst the service could have been a bit quicker, we were quite tucked away on a busy Saturday night. The food was top and well worth a little bit of a wait - tasty and large portion sizes for such cheap prices. The opera singer even came and sat with/sang to us at one point, followed by the manager who gave us a free bottle of wine and some tequila shots later - most definitely service with a smile.

After being a little bit apprehensive about what the place would be like as none of us had been before, we all had a fantastic time and the atmosphere was second to none.

I'll definitely be going back soon - we've already started planning the next Little Bay evening!

THE WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD.

We went to the Little Bay for a friends birthday. We ordered our food at 8.20pm our main courses arrived at 11.05pm! In the meantime no one ever came to offer us drinks or explain the delay. The duck was disgusting- deep fried and hairy. My braised beef was 'fridge' cold in the middle - when I sent it back, both the chef and the waiter touched it to test the temperature then sent the same touched food back microwaved! After several complaints the manager (12th Jan) never came over to talk to us and then threatened to call the police when we thought that perhaps we shouldn't pay the full price for the meal.
P.S The Kitchen looked dirty and the toilets were filthy and out of order. Perhaps spend more time cleaning them and less time painting hard core porn on the walls.

I GIVE THIS RESTAURANT NO STARS. IT IS DISGUSTING!

I'm very sorry to hear that you had such a bad meal, it is very unusual for such an amazing establishment. I fear you may be exaggerating your story a little to be honest. And as to the fact you stated "I GIVE THIS RESTAURANT NO STARS..." why on earth did you give it 1 star....? - Report

I've been a regular at Little bay for a few years, and I'm sad to say things have started to go downhill. Whilst the novelty of the singers is a great touch and the decor and service are all fantastic, I've always left feeling a little disappointed with the food.

If you're a vegetarian avoid this place, the sweltering heat is beyond a joke and don't wear your finest outfits if you dont want them permanently stained with the smell of duck fat. Litte Bay has good prices and good wine, but poor choice and average food.

I had an excellent meal at Little Bay and will be visiting again. The toilets are certainly something to see! And if you don't know why I'll let it stay a surprise!
