Totally disgusted by the food I had at Little Japan.

The worst meal I ever paid for and will demand a refund if ever that was available for bad food served.

I appeal to all not to try the food at this eatery.

It spoilt my evening indefinitely. What's more, on top of bad food, service (what service to begin with?) was totally horrible.

There is nothing authentic or flavorful about the food served here, unless you regard food enhanced by loads of artificial flavouring delicious.

We had - fried rice (too sticky and salty)- pork kimchi stir fry which featured pork fats and NO kimchi- gyoza with skin so thick we had to dig the meat out- Japanese tea which I would rather call green water.

Service was available, albeit appalling. The waitress insisted that we ate our rice from the plate with chopsticks and fork.

I might be Asian but rice from a plate calls for spoon. We asked for small plates for sharing but she said they have no small plates - more like an attempt to say "I am not giving it to you because I don't want to wash more plates later" *roll eyes*

There is nothing Japanese about this place.
We felt ripped off and cheated. Little Japan? I suggest the chef go eat some proper Japanese food before naming its restaurant.

Recommended by a friend (ex friend now). The worst Japanese I have eaten, if you can call it that.

I have spent time in Japan and as an Australian have grown up eating very good. cheap Japanese food.

So the issues...:: Table service - Nup but at least make it clear when we walk in.::

Sushi - The Tuna was green:: Chicken Katsu Bento - Is not balsamic reduction with batter.

Japanese mayonaise is not Kraft. :: Pork Katsu Curry - Japanese Chow Mein? Yellow preservative based 'goo' with batter once more.

Little Japan is a perfect name....a 'little' the operative word.
