WOW WOW WOW!!

This is a hidden gem.

Would I ever find Lobster cooked to this standard anywhere else in London - I doubt it.

This very small and friendly restaurant offers the most enjoyable experience. The service is stunning and the Chef is superb.

I would recommend this for any seafood lovers!

I absolutely adore Lobster Pot Restaurant and after my 5th outstanding visit I promised I would make my views public! I think the atmosphere is wonderful and the perfect place for either a romantic dinner with your most loved one (the case for me) or to take along your nearest and dearest for what is outstanding quality food and wine, with professional (and very polite) service. No, the prices are not cheap, but thats because its a treat, and I dont go looking for value for money as with that can be compromise on quality, and thats not what Lobster Pot Restaurant is about. To be honest I would never eat anything apart from the Lobster for main as its just the best ever but if you are not a seafood lover then I am sure you wont be disappointed, After the meal you can even go next door to their sister bar and restaurant for a night cap. Lobster pot I love you and never change!

The last time I went to the Lobster Pot Restaurant was for a family member's birthday. It was totally ruined by the experience. Staff were rude and aggressive (waiting staff were polite enough, but clearly new and had no supervision to speak of). The worst thing was that it was the management who were aggressive and shouting at us.

The food we received was cold, and we daned to complain about it. Not only this, but we had to wait of over an hour and a half in between meals in total. To be fair though to the Lobster Pot Restaurant, the only saving grace was the desserts. Mine was one of the best I've had.

After dining at The Lobster Pot for many years, I feel I must finally write a review of the restaurant. Whilst, on the whole my experiences have been enjoyable and the restaurant is a good example of a French/Fish restaurant in London, tonight’s meal was definitely not up to par.

Despite the Lobster Pot's awards for the quality of their food and service in the past, I feel this has generated an air of complacency and wonder whether this restaurant is losing its edge.

On my last visit, the service was sloppy, to say the least, the staff even beckoned us to assist in clearing the table on a couple of occasions. They then laughed when we complained about the miniscule portion of the cheese board (and trust me, the portion was appalling for the price). The main course was also very small. This is just not what you expect from a restaurant of this calibre - it does not represent good value for money especially when a meal here costs approx £80 per head (starter, main course, dessert, coffee, liqueur and ¾ bottle of wine each).

Having been involved in the hospitality industry for many years at all levels, I feel qualified to comment on how a fine dining experience should be executed. Clearly The Lobster Pot requires a refresher course in customer satisfaction and the provision of a quality service to ensure that it remains one of London’s top restaurants. This is, after all, what distinguishes it from the myriad of other restaurants out there.

The Lobster Pot is so cute - it's like a proper seaside restaurant and whoever's done the decor must have dropped some serious acid - it's really kitsch, with nets all over the ceiling. Similarly, the Lobster Pot offer a stonking 8 course meal option - whoever thought that one up must have been on drugs.
