I have been twice to the Lord Palmerston for lunch, on a monday and on a weekend.
It's just one of the cosiest, most lovely places I've been in London. The service is quick and the staff are smiley, polite and..good looking..
The food is delicious and the draught beers too.
I can't praise it high enough!

I am a regular at the Palmerston and I rate it as the benchmark for all my dining all around the world . The food is exceptionally good value for the quality, the atmosphere is great, no music, great conversation, not very smokey, interesting people and great staff. Many people come to the pub from outside the area for many of the qualities I have mentioned above. All I say is carry on the good work !

I have been to the Lord Palmerstone for drinks and meals a few times as our friends are locals to the establishment. And can never say enough about how good the food is. But I have just found out that after we had a large (16 of us), successful dinner party there last December my friend and her boyfriend both mistakenly put their credit cards forward to pay for both of them, signed the cards, then realised they had both paid £80 (that was what the bill worked out as for a couple including a good tip). They then asked the waitress to void one of their transactions or give them cash back. This was refused point blank by the manager as they said they could not void the transaction as they had both signed. Cash back was refused. And they were not even given anything to go back and have a free meal there sometime. The bill was already £640 which is pretty good. So nice food, nice atmosphere - especially the large private function rooms but double check what you sign for as errors won't be reversed here!!
