Excellent. Ok, I'm biased, I LOVE Belgian beers, and Lowlander is perfect for me. The selection of Belgian and Dutch beers is mind-boggling. And importantly, there are enouogh subtle but effective differences from its menu and the one offered in the Belgo/Bierodrome chain to make this worth a visit.

The laid back European cafe style makes Lowlander a vibrant place to visit in the evening. The staff are friendly and accomodating. The meat platters are a stroke of genius. Downsides? Well, Belgian beers are expensive and this bar can get horrifically busy at times. But other than that, not a lot. 9/10

I always thought Lowlander was a bar, but I guess they do some food as well so it's both. It's a real crush in here almost every night - weekends even more so - and to be honest if you haven't booked a table you'll be eating stood up.
Lowlander's much more of a drinking place I think - not enough room for anything else.

Lowlander is a great friendly bar serving an excellent selection of beers from Belgium and the Netherlands. Food is good solid stuff - exactly what is needed to soak up the booze. The stoemp saucisse is recommended. Great place to try out new and very odd but pleasant, fruity beers.

Have been a few times - the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it gets busy but not unpleasantly so.

Only reason not given a 5 is that it would be even better if the menu changed a little more often and contained more authentic Belgian/Dutch food.

Overall - a great place to spend an evening!

A very pleasant bar with lots of European lagers and gimmicks to deliver them in unusual ways. Warm, pleasant and noisy. A bit smokey from those that wish to but otherwise a nice venue.
