Went to Luna Rossa last night and was really impressed by this restaurant. Food was excellent, service was great, Wine was fantastic. Will definetly go back and reccomend it to my friends, should they ask for somewhere to go and spend their night. Love it.
Nothing much to say. Bad food and horrible service. Could not believe when the waiter came to offer black pepper and instead I requested Parmesan cheese. He then said that seafood pasta should not be eaten with parmesan cheese, that it was wrong! I actually thought it was a joke, but I then realised he was quite offended when he turned his back to me and made a quite nasty comment about the way I wanted to eat it. I end up in fact leaving the whole plate of pasta as it was horrible and just left without complaining. Just could not bother... We have reviews nowadays. I think they work better.
Average pizza, bad past and really poor service. Be aware that if you are in a larger group, you might not be able to choose what to ea, as they are quite good at mixing up the orders and just serving you whatever they feel like. Horrible, horrible service. Never again!
The pizzas size is small, not much toppings and is expensive.
The service wasn't great. There was a used napkin on our table..
I have been back to this restraurant a few times, and it has always been a good experience. Tasty food, good service (although sometimes slow and the last time the waiter seemed unenthusiastic about anything) and lovely atmosphere. For the price I think it's a great choice.
Atmosphere: Great ambiance.
Food: Ordered the spaghetti alla carbonara, which was very good. I was pleased that the sauce was not too "saucy" and the entree was well-flavored with bacon. The person I was with ordered a thin-crust margherita pizza, just wonderful.
Service: The service was excellent, with the host and bartenders all very pleasant.
Go Back?: Yes. Since the service was great and the carbonara was delicious, I think they deserve a 2nd chance to make an improved 1st impression, Karen

I had heard good things about this restaurant and was incredibly disappointed. They got our order wrong, not once but three times!!
Unbelievable for a pizza place I know. This meant, at a table of 16 people, 4 people ate two and a half hours after everyone had first been served their meals.
In the end, we just ate whatever they served (despite not having order it) because we were starving hungry.
They didn't offer us free pizza/coffee/wine/anything. They apologised profusely but still charged for service.
It was a really awful night in the end. I don't think they should take large bookings if they can't handle having to feed that many people.
I have to say that Luna Rossa's staff are helpful, willing to describe various dishes, and they tell the truth. The place also is beyond comparison: colourful, clean and hospitable. No one rushes you, so your meal is as relaxed as you would like it to be.
The food is fresh and it's very nice to eat something 'just' prepared.
I'm afraid I couldn't help myself from ordering the same dish a second time, but from what I've tried of my friend's food, the whole menu is delicious!
