I have to admit, i felt a bit out of place when i went to this restuarant with my friend on a friday night as we seemed to be the youngest peolpe there! But Everyone who ate there seemed friendly locals who knew the staff quite well and seemed to enjoy there time there.The service was outstanding and the staff was very attentive and th atmosphere was magical. As for the food... where do I begin... AMAZING AAMZING AMAZING!Opt for the specials as the food is cooked perfectly - i've never had swordfish before but this was amazing.It might be expensive but its definately worth every penny from my point of view.Will come again even if its for a dinner for pampering.

I was very dissapointed with Lydons.
There was no atmosphere, the staff were rude and unhelpful and the food was very pricey.

Would never go back or recommend it to friends.

There are many much better places in Wimbledon Village to have a great meal and time for that matter.

F OUR OF US WENT AS A BIRTHDAY TREAT FOR OUR WIVES. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND STAFF WERE EFFICIENT AND FRIENDLY. A BIT PRICY AND SERVICE CHARGE AT TWELVE AND A HALF PER CENT SEEMS TO BE A CURRENT TREND. A GREAT PLACE FOR A SPECIAL TREAT.

Awful table, reception to restaurant hurried. Waited quite a while for service - were with our coats at the table for around 5 minutes before anyone came to attend to us. Food good, service charge categorically disputed and rejected.

What a treat Lydon's was! Came for an anniversary meal because it had been recommended as a very good restaurant. It wasn't just very good, it was superb.
Wonderful ambience with delightful staff and the food was the best we have eaten for a long, long time. We are already making plans to return as soon as possible. Go on, treat yourself and try this restaurant. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Lydon's has a formal yet relaxed atmosphere, attentive yet not imposing service and the best, freshest seafood in London!
Being offered an aperatif (I can recommend the Kir Royale) on arrival just adds to the experience. A little pricey for every day dining, but a wonderful treat.
