I recently went to the Asian Business Awards on March 18th where Madhu's were catering. It was a shock to me and my family to learn that after asking one of the waiters(who was a muslim) if the chicken was halal, he could not answer me but asked one of the managers to come and see me.
The manager assured me it was halal, after a few minutes the original waiter came back to me and said " I am a muslim and I have just spoken to the chef and he said that the lamb is halal but the chicken is not halal.
I don't know how many muslims ate that night knowing that the chicken was not halal, but that is a disgrace, surely the management should come out and speek the truth or Madhu's should have a policy that all meat ordered should be halal to stop this misleading the public and or confusion, after all they cater for all kinds of religion and cultures.
I will not be eating anywhere where Madhu's is mentioned as the caterer purely for misleading the muslims and other members of the public who think they are eating halal food.

Authentic Punjabi cooking in a surprisingly smart setting for Southall. The aloo tikki is a great starter, and the birianis are particularly good here. One of the best Indian restaurants in London.

Madhu's is superb and impecable. Superlatives unlimited mate.

Madhu’s has a great selection of Indian dishes that will have you crying out for more. The staff are excellent and the atmosphere is one of comfort and relaxation. This place is highly deserving of praise and I would urge anyone who likes their curries to try out Madhu's as it is truly spectacular.
