Mafiz's Kitchen is by far the best curry house on Brick Lane. It is at the end of the strip and they focus more on quality than touting the Friday and Saturday night punters in off the street. Don't be put off if Mafiz's Kitchen is not packed on a Saturday night, most of their business comes midweek from business customers. Their award winning chef from India only uses the finest spices. The staff at Mafiz's Kitchen are extremely knowledgeable about the menu and provide excellent service. As for the food, it is awesome. I particularly recommend the curried lamb shank with brown rice.
