Went there for my 30th birthday and had a very large booking of over thirty people. The food was quite good, though not the greatest Moroccan I have tasted. Unfortunately, the following day after paying the bill I was contacted by a waiter, who proceeded to tell me that he had made a mistake of over hundred pounds on the bill and that unless I was prepared to help him the money would be docked from his wages.

Disappointed by these seemingly fraudulent turn of events, I contacted the manager, Mr Faraji, who maintained that I had done nothing wrong, but unfortunately money was to be docked from the waiter. Besides feeling slightly harassed and upset at such bullying/guilt tripping tactics, I was surprised that the manager would confess to such bad treatment of his staff. The whole experience put a sour taste on visiting the restaurant. I shall certainly never go there again and would not recommend.

To be honest, Maghreb is the only Moroccan restaurant I've been to, but it was lovely. Lots of spicy dishes, including a yummy couscous, and a laidback atmosphere.
I'd recommend Maghreb to anyone wanting to try something different.

Went to Maghreb with a group of 6 friends. Everyone really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Lots of plump cushions and draped fabrics - felt like Morocco! Don't get seated near the door - blew a gale every time the door opened! However we liked Mahgreb and plan to return!
