For me on this cold London night, I felt strangely warm when my party and I entered the Mahoe with it's nice lime green walls and short trek downstairs to the dining room area, I really felt as if we were truly "Coming in from the cold." This place is new_ 3 months old, fresh, has great appeal, and I can truly say the first of it's kind.. a gem of a Caribbean bar-bistro, with great Caribbean cuisine, personable and wonderful staff, and of course great music. The manager/owner, a first generation Jamaican was extremely personable, and with a room full of guest was gracious enough to sit and chat for a few minutes with my party and myself. Open all seven days, Mahoe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the menu options are quite varied (ethnic Caribbean as well as European meals) which includes wraps. As I understood from the manager/owner and her partner, Mahoe is available for all types of events, no matter the size of your party from 2 to 72. Given it's location, a few minutes from the Masion House tube station, Mahoe is highly accessible, conveniently located, and is a great "Rendezvous" point, and I though very affordable. Next time I am in the UK, this place will definitely be a Rendezvous point for me, and I hope that for those living in the UK, or for visitors to the UK, you can also include Mahoe in your travels...Just a thought, based on how full the place was on Saturday night, I would call ahead to make reservations, you want to make sure that you get a seat, 'cause once you sit down, you really don't want to leave..this place totally rocks !!!

This venue displays sheer elegance, it restores the ethos and excitement of a true caribbean theme whilst upholding the essence of a colonial decor. Just looking at the menu one can tell that much thought have been given, and the staff is very chilled out and friendly much to do with the tropical vibe. The food looks and tastes good and accomodates all types of appetites and preference. I could go on but i think your own verdict is required, 5 seconds away from exit 4 of mansion house tube station makes it the ideal location for accessibility.
