The owner and his staff are very friendly in Malaysia Kopi Tiam serving malaysian and thai food. The red duck curry was delicious, but the price of the tea was a disappointment and when I got the check, couldn't believe my eyes: for a large glass of hot water with a tea bag in it they charged £ 2.20! Which is a rip off, considering that there's a service charge of 10% in addition. At other asian restaurants one can get a pot of tea for £ 1.00 or even less. This exorbitant price for a tea has spoiled my dining experience. Otherwise, I've been satisfied and would return for the food.

Had the most delicious Malaysian and Thai food last night (8th May 2009).

By far the best available in London to eat both types of food in one establishment. The place was full with diners last night.

Had Hainanese Chicken Rice, Pad Thai Noddles, Tom Yam Soup, Sambal Carrot Cake and finished off with ABC Ice-kachang (sweet 'shaved ice') as dessert.

Prices are generally reasonally. Will be back thereagain shortly with friends from East Asia.
